Last Saturday, July 16, the long-awaited swim through Papagayo beaches was held, which resumed its calendar after the break caused by the pandemic.

It is one of the best crossings in the Canary Islands, with a 5,000-meter route in the Atlantic's calmest and most transparent waters.

The crossing to Playas de Papagayo Dreams Playa Dorada is part of the regional circuit for the Canary Islands Cup, being scored for this competition of what will be its tenth stage.

For the youngest swimmers, parallel tests were carried out in Playa Dorada with shorter distances according to their category. In addition, the organization also opened the opportunity for social integration, adapting distances for groups with functional diversity.

The crossing to Swim Playas de Papagayo Dreams Playa Dorada is one of the most anticipated sporting events by athletes on the island. And the fact is that being able to develop a swimming competition in an area as incredible as the Papagayo coast is priceless.
The Papagayo beaches are part of the Ajaches Natural Park, one of Lanzarote's wildest and most spectacular areas.

They make up the perfect spot for developing a sporting event that perfectly unites tourism and sport in Lanzarote with crystal clear, calm waters and stunning views.

At Yaizart we are aware of the tremendous social impact of this type of sporting event on tourism and culture in Lanzarote. That is why we wanted to contribute by designing an exclusive gift for all the participants.

Our artist Yaiza designed a magnet-based entirely on Papagayo Dreams Playa Dorada's swim. It is an ecological souvenir made of bamboo, following the line of our eco-friendly souvenirs.

Thus, we delivered gift vouchers on the day of the bib collection at the port of Marina Rubicón, end all the competition participants could come to our tent on the day of the event to collect their free magnet.

The Yaizart team is pleased to be part of events of great relevance for the culture, sport and dissemination of the island of Lanzarote.

It is an excellent opportunity to publicize our project, which is mainly about showing the world the great wealth of Lanzarote.
We understand that the support from both public and private institutions in events such as the swim through Papagayo beaches is vital to offer participants a top-notch experience.

"Betting on quality sport has great tourist benefits for the island."

We want to especially thank Tripasión, organizers of the test, for their trust in us to be part of this great event.

In addition, we would also like to thank Pedro de Lanzarote photo sport for, once again, giving us the incredible photographs you can see in this article.
